Use AWS Hardened Images as a defined operating-system artifact within Standard Defense Level 1, 2, or 3 security programs.

Standard Defense profiles provide graduated hardening targets for teams that need to select a security posture appropriate to the workload rather than treat every system as identical.
Where Hardened Images fits.
Hardened Images can supply a named Linux starting point associated with the selected profile level. The surrounding AWS architecture, workload behavior, evidence, and acceptance process remain part of the customer system.
